ACLS, NRP, PALS, & PEARS courses have been cancelled for the foreseeable future. For those in dire need, we will offer case-by-case skill sessions or challenge renewals. Please call (716) 407-0900 ext2 for Buffalo or ext3 for Rochester for information.
American Heart Association
ACLS Experienced Provider
Recommended for seasoned healthcare providers who manage complex cardiovascular, respiratory, and other emergencies and need to renew their ACLS course completion requirements.
The ACLS Initial Class covers:
- Recognition and early management of respiratory and cardiac arrest
- Airway Management
- ACLS Pharmacology
- Basic Life Support (BLS) review
- Management of acute coronary syndromes and stroke
- How to be both a leader and a team member in a resuscitation team
Upon successful completion, learners receive an ACLS EP course completion card, valid for 2 years. The ACLS-EP course fulfills the requirements of an ACLS renewal course and we also issue a standard AHA ACLS course completion card in addition to the AHA ACLS EP course completion card to alleviate any credentialing confusion with the Joint Commission or other licensing/credentialing entity.
